Fife’s TruWide ultrasonic sensor is the only one on the market capable of detecting multiple edges at one time, even opaque or clear materials. In fact, it can be used for center or edge guiding for as many webs as you can fit into a proportional band width range of 2.6” (66 mm) to 20.28”
(515 mm) with web width measurement on each.

The TruWide’s 16-bit resolution covers the entire width of the sensing area, providing unsurpassed accuracy and, since there is no longer the need to set edges, drastically reduced changeover times. Now, demanding materials, multiple webs and web width variation are easy to control, giving you more options and greater productivity.
